Jeyaram Subramaniam holds an Advanced Diploma in Marine Diesel Engineering from BIT and furthered his education in Maritime Engineering at the University of Southampton. With over a decade of experience sailing on various ocean-going vessels, he possesses extensive knowledge of the shipping industry.
As the founder of SSG LLC USA, Jeyaram oversees the sourcing of OEM and replacement solar panels, as well as custom-made solutions from manufacturers associated with the SSG group. He also plays a key role in supporting the sales team in the supply of various solar panel brands across the USA and the Americas.
 headquartered in Australia. With more than 25 years of experience in the solar industry, the group has successfully completed over 1,500 projects, specializing in solar, inverter, battery, and genset systems, as well as standalone operations, solar farms, and battery energy storage systems.
Notable projects include solar electrification initiatives in Malaysia, such as Mersing Islands and Pulau Perhentian, which benefited rural schools and villages. He has also contributed to solar electrification programs in Indonesian islands like Morotai and Bunakan, as well as battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects in Japan, including Hanamaki and Miyazaki.
